in thrust areas of research.

IndexCopernicus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Electronic Journals Library, Ulrich's
Periodicals Directory , J-Gate and EBSCO Publishing. Currently under review for indexing by Thomson ISI.
Focus and Scope
Biology and Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal publishing original, relevant and high quality research
manuscripts in most of the modern disciplines and sub-disciplines of biology and medicine. The journal
recognizes the multidisciplinary nature of biology and medicine, and includes research articles, review
articles, case reports and short communications, with a focus on cellular and molecular biology, disease
research (humans and animals), environmental biology, toxicology, pharmacology, genetics,
epidemiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, and agriculture.
Call for manuscripts
Manuscripts are invited for evaluation and peer-review. Please go through the 'Author Guidelines' before
submitting manuscripts. The submitted manuscripts must include original, high quality research work
focusing on areas in biology and medicine as mentioned in the 'Focus and Scope' of the journal.
Manuscripts should be submitted for peer-review through email to

SYMPOSIUM ANNOUNCEMENT
A two-day national symposium MAASCON-1 on "Frontiers in Life Sciences: Basic and Applied" will be held
on October 23-24, 2010, in the Department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (UP), India. The
